The Els Club Comes to Visit
An Afternoon of Portuguese Quiet Luxury
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming a very special group of guests to our showroom in Almancil. Around 30 ladies from the renowned Els Club, founded by golfing legend Ernie Els, visited us during a golf event in Vilamoura for an afternoon dedicated to Portuguese style, craftsmanship and quiet luxury.
A Very Special Welcome
Arriving together by private coach, the group brought a wonderful energy to our Almancil showroom. The visit was beautifully organised by Claudia Viera, who was looking for a destination where the ladies could experience something authentic, elegant and distinctly Portuguese alongside their golf programme in the Algarve.
Discovering the Art of Quiet Luxury
The ladies were specifically looking to discover the understated luxury Portugal has become so well known for: exceptional materials, beautiful craftsmanship and timeless design rather than obvious statements or trends.
Our showroom offered the perfect setting to explore this philosophy, from beautifully crafted interiors to the exceptional Portuguese textiles of Abyss & Habidecor. Soft Egyptian cotton towels, richly textured bath rugs and refined home accessories allowed our guests to experience first-hand the quality and attention to detail behind some of Portugal’s finest luxury products.
More Than a Shopping Visit
What made the afternoon particularly special was the atmosphere. It became much more than simply a visit to a store. It was an opportunity to discover Portuguese design, feel the materials, exchange ideas and enjoy a relaxed moment together away from the golf course.
The response was wonderful, and we were delighted to see such genuine enthusiasm for the quality, textures and craftsmanship represented in our collection. For us, it was also a reminder of how strongly Portuguese quiet luxury resonates with an international audience.
